Short Run Plastic Injection Molding
CEPS' manufacturing environment, encompassing systems, staff, equipment and procedures, is well-equipped to process production runs of as few as 100 parts in an efficient manner. Quick mold changeovers are achieved with universal frames and inserts and quick connect manifolds. CEPS' lean and efficient short run operations are further enhanced with small lot drying equipment and sophisticated scheduling software.

Plastic Insert Molding and Plastic Overmolding
From 36" long fiber optic strands, to $100+ steel gears for military applications, to parts with 14 molded inserts, CEPS has vast experience with insert molding and overmolding. CEPS has helped customers save thousand of dollars with innovative approaches to molding in inserts, increasing durability and eliminating secondary operations.

Molding Capacity
CEPS has plastic injection molding capabilities ranging from 28 to 360 tons. Together, CEPS and its joint venture partners have over 100 presses, with ongoing production 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

All three facilities are certified to ISO 9001:2000.

Production Management
Production at CEPS is managed by the IQMS ERP System. This system allows for full traceability of plastic resin, metal components and product, and facilitates efficient scheduling, short lead-times and tight inventory control. All presses are continually monitored via the IQMS wireless Real Time Monitoring module, providing mold technicians and management with 24-7 visibility and history on all production runs.
