Tool Transfers

CEPS has a long history of taking on transfer tooling and its nimble, in-house tool center, its strong engineering group and its can-do attitude have resulted in many seamless and successful tooling transfers.

At CEPS, the process of relocating mold tools involves:
  • Prior to the transfer, CEPS consults with the customer to review specifications and plan the transfer schedule and logistics

  • After receiving the tools, CEPS promptly provides a thorough, photo-filled inspection report of tooling condition and recommendations

  • If necessary, CEPS makes any repairs or adaptations required before the tooling is sampled

  • After sampling CEPS submits part samples, a first article inspection report and a comprehensive summary of observations on the parts and tooling
