CEPS readily assists customers in converting products made from non-plastic materials to plastic as well as from plastic materials being machined to becoming injection molded. Conversions can be compelling for customers to lower unit costs, to increase quality, improve functionality, or to build more flexibility into the supply chain.

CEPS actively works in over 100 different engineering grade resins and commodity resins, including:

• high temperature resins such as PEEK and Ultem^®
  
  
• highly abrasive resins such as Ryton^® and Noryl^®
  
  
• lower durometer TPEs, TPUs and rubber.
  
  

CEPS routinely advises on the material’s potential performance given the application, as well as the cost to the part based on the material's impact on the manufacturing process, cycle time, cooling requirements, tolerance specifications, and secondary operations.

Finally, CEPS can mold blank resin tiles for customers that want to machine parts or perform finite element analysis as part of the prototype stage.
